Heart of Georgia Hospice began in 1984 as Hospice of Houston County. Throughout our more than 30 years of service to Middle Georgia, Heart of Georgia Hospice has been fortunate to have Huggin’ Hazel Colson. Huggin’ Hazel has been a nurse for more than 70 years and recently celebrated her 90th birthday. Over the years Heart of Georgia Hospice has served patients and their families with our mission of care and comfort. Patients and their families will never receive a bill when they use Heart of Georgia Hospice services. We believe you have more important things to focus on during this journey with your loved ones. We are proud to call ourselves your hometown neighbors and we look forward to many more years of serving in Middle Georgia.
